You can delete your Family Command Central account and its personal data at any time, right from the app — no need to email us. This page explains the steps and exactly what is removed.
1. Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open Family Command Central and go to the Today tab.
- Tap your profile avatar in the top-right corner to open Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
2. If you created the family
A family always needs at least one parent, so:
- If other members remain and you created the family, the app first asks you to transfer ownership to another parent. If there is no other parent yet, promote a member to parent in the Family tab, then delete your account.
- If you are the last member, deleting your account deletes the whole family and all of its content — chats, lists, events, projects and places — for everyone.
3. Delete by email
If you can’t access the app, email familycommandcentralapp@lumingon.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may need to verify your identity, and we’ll complete the request within 30 days.
4. What gets deleted
- Your member profile (display name, initials, role, optional bio) and the link to your Google or Apple sign-in.
- Your email address stored with the account.
- The chat messages and content you authored, and your analytics identity is reset.
- If you were the last member, your family and everything in it.
5. What may be kept
When other members remain, the family and its shared content stay so the rest of your family can keep using the app. We may also retain limited records where the law requires it (for example, billing records for a past subscription). Retained data is handled under our Privacy Policy.
